Executive Housekeeper

Coast Hotels is a dynamic and growing brand. The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring that the Coast Hotels cleaning standards for all guest and public areas of the Coast Sundance Lodge are consistently adhered to. This position provides a positive, empowering and productive work environment while maximizing operational effectiveness and maintaining high customer service standards.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements:

• Secondary school diploma
• 3 years of related experience at a leadership level
• Industry specific certifications such as Housekeeping Room Attendant or Tourism Supervisor
• Occupational First Aid – Level 1
• Intermediate level in the use of MS Office Suite
• Ability to lead and motivate others
• Excellent knowledge of legislation and regulations (i.e., WCB, OH&S, employment standards)
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem resolution skills and conflict resolution skills
• Experience forecasting and budgeting for a functional area within a property

Room Attendants

The Room Attendants will contribute to the overall success of the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel by ensuring that the Coast Hotels cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently met for all guest room and public areas of the Hotel. This position will also be responsible for maintaining a positive work environment in the Housekeeping area while maintaining high internal / external customer service standards.

Food & Beverage Server

Qualifications & Skill Requirements:

• Industry-specific certifications such as FOODSAFE and ProServe is mandatory
• Hepatitis A vaccination is mandatory
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Cash handling experience an asset
• Ability to multi-task

• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
