Property Claims Investigative Advisor
As accountability for fraud management is embedded in Aviva Canada’s National Claims Operation, the Investigative Property Advisor plays a critical role in developing the capabilities of Claims Advisors to be able to detect, investigate and determine the appropriate disposition of Property Fraud and other complex Property issues.
Additionally, as the first level escalation point for complex property claims, that are beyond the investigative capabilities of Claims Advisors, the Property Investigative Advisor uses a unique combination of skills to conduct stationary and task investigations to determine the validity of issues in question. This unique skill set enables the timely resolution of the investigative issues to enable the Claim Advisor to simultaneously provide the customer with a seamless claim handling experience.
This role will also offer the opportunity to work from home for the right candidate.
Manager, Operational RIsk and Controls
As the Manager, Operational Risk and Controls, you will work with the Personal Insurance leadership team to provide an aggregated view of all existing and emerging operational risks facing the underwriting business. You will:
- Develop and manage an effective and embedded risk tolerance framework for operational risks across the organization.
- Ensure that the Personal Insurance corporate office and operations team has a holistic view of its control environment and provide remediation plans for red controls
- Provide the entire Personal Insurance team with insight into the operational risks that it faces through qualitative and quantitative methodologies
