Quality Engineer

The Quality Engineer will work on-site, in the Los Angeles, CA area, at vendor locations to oversee the production of LVSA structural panels.  The Quality Engineer will be responsible for reviewing build paper, approving build start and major process starts on all panels, developing progress reports, conducting root cause investigations, and overseeing non-destructive testing. Travel between vendors in the Los Angeles area, on a daily basis may be required.

Qualifications

Education:

Requires at least four years at a recognized level of competence in a related technical field or the equivalent education and experience.  Must be recognized as a specialist in a technical area by competent professional associates and have demonstrated technical leadership capability.

Desired Candidate:

  • BS Degree in an engineering/technical discipline
  • 10 yrs experience developing Space Flight or military hardware
  • Experience working to AS9100 requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Office, PowerPoint, and Word
  • US Citizen

Android Software Developer

The Android Software Developer will support the Army’s next generation friendly force tracking system.  The system provides situational awareness (SA), command and control messaging (C2), chat, navigation, and more to our soldiers as part of the Mounted Computing Environment (MCE).

This iteration is being built from the ground up utilizing the latest technologies.  It will replace the very successful Joint Battle Command Platform (JBC-P), Joint Capabilities Release (JCR), and Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below/Blue Force Tracking (FBCB2/BFT) systems.

The Developer will work as part of a team of 3 to 5 developers in a fast paced yet structured environment.

JBC-P is a very rewarding project that really makes a difference to our warfighters.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Requires a BS or engineering degree in a program which includes extensive courses in mathematics and/or computer science, plus approximately four years (4) professional experience in computer programming and/or computer systems analysis.  An MS degree in an appropriate area is desirable and may be substituted for up to two years of experience.
