SALES IN CANADA

Sales is an organization within P&G that is responsible for managing the P&G business and our relationships with Canada’s largest retailers. When you join the Sales team at P&G, you hit the ground running. Utilizing proprietary research, industry & brand understanding, and real data, you will create and present your own business plans to your customer, then execute your plan through managing a multi-million dollar budget.

As an Account Manager in Sales, you do more than “sell”. You become a strategy consultant, working with the largest retailers on the biggest brands in Canada. This work will directly impact shelving assortment, product showcases, and in-store marketing at your retailer. CBD gives you the satisfaction of seeing your work come to life in the Canadian market, and perhaps beyond. The result is that you grow both P&G’s business and the business of your retailer(s).

Brand: Marketing/Brand Management in Canada

In our Brand function, you will get wide experience of brand building, starting from general business management, thru communication planning and trade marketing. With P&G Canada, you will learn and master the key marketing elements including brand communication, portfolio management, trial building, commercial strategy planning, in-store communication and execution, market analysis and tracking.

The two main areas within P&G Canada’s Brand function are:

• Commercial Operations, where you will further expand your Brand management knowledge via managing brand/category product portfolio, developing annual business plans, analyzing latest market development trends, recommending new business solutions, developing brand commercial strategies and initiative executions for in-store.

• Brand Operations, where you will explore the elements of Brand Communication, lead the annual communication and trial plan development, analyze key media and communication trends, and assess the competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities. You will manage and integrate holistic brand communications plans across all media and consumer touch points while working closely with a multi-functional team and agency partners.

Finance & Accounting Roles

Financial Analyst – leverages depth and knowledge of the business to analyze opportunities and risks, including product initiatives.

Cost Analyst – identifies business opportunities and influences decisions for efficiencies and cost savings.

Customer Business Development Analyst/Market Strategy Analyst – works directly with the brand and customer to strategically manage revenue and improve the business.

Customer Accounting Manager – oversees all aspects of customer accounting.

Assistant Service Manager – leads delivery of a service and drives continual improvement through innovation and development of Best-In-Class services.

Internal Controls Auditor – works in a team of auditors to ensure that business and financial aspects run smoothly.

Corporate Accountant – rises to the challenge of driving stewardship, governance and compliance.

IT Roles & Disciplines

P&G IT professionals develop their careers in the context of four Disciplines – defined groups of work unique to the IT function and needed to drive the business.

Application & Integration – Strategy, development, implementation, maintenance and governance of the Company’s business applications. Roles include: Application Manager, IT Operations Manager, Solution Manager and Project Manager.
