Housekeeper

The Housekeeper completed the day to day housekeeping of all residences, ensuring that Residence Services standards are maintained and that all guests and students are provided a superior experience for the duration of their stay.

The Housekeeper may work up to thirty five hours per week and will be required to work during the evening or on the weekend.

Responsibilities

  • Listen to guest’s requests and/or complains
  • Report any issues or problems
  • Maintain laundry and storage rooms as well as stock carts
  • Replenish and restock supplies
  • Report lost and found items
  • Check equipment such as: lamps, lights, clocks, to ensure working order

Executive Advisor

Reporting to the Vice President, Finance and Administration, the Executive plays a strategic coordination and advisory role within the Executive Offices.  This senior professional role has responsibility for ensuring strategic coordination and development of the strategic plan for the Division of Finance and Administration, leading and monitoring of divisional initiatives within the University Strategic Plan; fostering change management practices and supporting projects through advisement, research and assessment throughout; planning and coordinating Divisional budget development; and managing reporting requirements related to the Board of Governors and related Committees.  The Executive Advisor is a divisional expert, relied upon for consistent handling related to critical issues; promoting institution-wide collaboration; contributing to decisions on priorities and criteria for allocation of resources and items are acted upon.

Reproductive Physiology

The School of Nursing and Midwifery invites applications for a contract Reproductive Physiology Instructorfor the Fall 2018 term which will commence September 6 to December 22, 2018.  The contract Reproductive Physiologist is responsible for teaching Bachelor of Midwifery students the mechanisms that regulate reproduction including the menstrual cycle, gametogenesis, implantation, placentation and maternal physiology (including labour and delivery). An introduction to embryonic and fetal development is also to be provided. There is potential for continued employment.

Days and Times offered: Tuesdays and Thursdays; 1 pm – 2:20 pm

Responsibilities

  • Instruction: course delivery including preparation of course outline, course activities, lesson preparation and assessments, and course Blackboard site; and
  • Administration: submit course attendance sheets, course outline signature forms, input final grades upon course completion, and participate in scheduled program meetings.
