Car Washer

Overview

The Service Agent is responsible for the care and maintenance of the cars on the lot. This includes vacuuming and prepping the cars, shuttling cars to and from car washes and dealerships for servicing, car transports to and from offices, checking fluid levels, and changing tires.

  • Clean vehicle exterior by hand, brush or by operating washing equipment
  • Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body, by hand
  • Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required)
  • Determine need for and add windshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze
  • Perform basic maintenance check: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
  • Verify appropriate stickers are attached to vehicle (registration, plates, etc.)
  • May be responsible for maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies
  • May assist with local automobile deliveries
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS/EQUIPMENT USED:

  • Work environment involves moderate exposure to hazards or physical risks, which requires following basic safety requirements, including road rules and facility regulations
  • Work is performed outside in all types of weather and temperatures and in a typical office environment
  • Moderate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 10 pounds with long periods of standing and walking
  • Moderate exposure to unusual elements such as temperature, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises, which may vary based on location

Equipment used daily includes a large variety of vehicles (may include 15-passenger vans and airport buses, based on location), safety belts, 2-way radio or cellular phone, phone system, computer equipment, printer, fax, printer, copier and safe equipment

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have 6 months of work experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • This position requires a valid drivers license
  • Apart from religious observation, must be able to work a 40-45 hour work week

Car Cleaner

Overview

  • Inspect vehicle to ensure safety equipment is in working order; lights, tires, brakes, wipers, horn, seat belts, mirrors and back-up lights.
  • Inspect vehicles for unidentified body damage.
  • Clean all exterior and interior windows and mirrors and vacuum interior, floor, seats, ashtray and trunk.
  • Provide positive customer service, including greetings, assistance with luggage and personal belongings, where applicable.
  • Place items found in vehicles in lost and found. Direct drivers to drop off locations as necessary.
  • Drive the vehicle from drop off point to service area; drive vehicle through car wash and to ready line as necessary.
  • Refuel the vehicle and log identification number with fuel needed and mileage.
  • Ensure that the key tag is properly marked with the correct VIN or Unit number and license plate number.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
  • Complete the out-of-service tag and ensure the vehicle is moved to the maintenance area.
  • Identify and pull the vehicles that are eligible for turnback, flagged for grounding or preventative maintenance and verify their movement to the proper lot location.

Qualifications

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be able to physically operate the equipment (variety of vehicles and/or vacuum/car wash equipment) repetitively through entire shift.
  • Must be able to work in outdoor environments.
  • Aside from religious observance, must be to work part time 10-29 hours per week which may include weekends and holidays.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (No more than 3 moving violations within the last 3 years and no DWI/DUI within the last 5 years).

Car Detailing Service Agent Folsom

Overview

Entry Level Automotive Mechanic Technician

Overview

  • Ensure all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines.
  • Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Perform in-fleet servicing on new cars according to company procedures as required.
  • Perform buy back/turn back servicing according to company procedures as required.
  • Perform vehicle servicing/repairing to maintain company standards; maintain Out-Of-Service at or below 2%.
  • Maintain safe and clean work area.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience handling mechanical service procedures to perform fleet maintenance activities
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents within the last 3 years

    Must have no alcohol or drug related convictions on driving record within the last 5 years

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English
  • Requires ownership of standard hand tools to perform basic maintenance and repair responsibilities 
  • NH State Inspectors license preferred
  • Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm

Service Agent

The Service Agent cleans vehicles inside and out (vehicles may be cleaned by hand or by operating washing equipment). The Service Agent also performs regular maintenance (non-mechanical services), moves vehicles, and performs other duties assigned by the manager, all completed in a safe and timely manner.

Part-Time Driver

Enterprise Rent-A-Car has an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Driver position based out of Woodstock, Ontario. The Driver delivers vehicles and in some instances, customers, employees or vendors safely and timely to the appropriate destination(s) while giving helpful, courteous and professional customer service.

This position pays $11.85/hour 35 hours/week

Responsibilities

The Part Time Driver is responsible for the transporting of fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations, as well as navigating written directions.

  • Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road
  • Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous manner
  • Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehicles
  • Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely
  • May need to communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone
  • May be asked to clean vehicle and/or keep bus clean during shift
  • May be asked to assist customer(s) with directions, car options and basic policy/procedures
  • May be asked to assist customer(s) load and unload luggage, enter and exit vehicle and miscellaneous customer needs
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid G2 or G driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past3 years
  • No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
  • Must be able to lift 30 lb. in order to assist customers
