Associate Product Manager

Your tasks and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role, Associate Product Manager, are to:

  • Collaborate with external agency partners, customers and internal stakeholders to identify and implement integrated communication programs that meet customer needs and drive product demand
  • Integrate product strategies into actionable marketing communication plans and execute them on time and within budget while ensuring Bayer’s branding guidelines and industry regulations are followed and supported
  • Organize annual strategic planning process to optimize brand- specific communications, promotional programs and sales support materials with emphasis on consumer marketing and communications
  • Monitor advertising and promotional spending and determine resource allocations across specified brands to optimize overall product performance • Accurately manage the product forecasting process, anticipate business risks and ensure that contingency plans are developed to manage through them
  • Track the success of marketing programs vs. business objectives and communicate to internal stakeholders

Demand Planning Manager

Your tasks and responsibilities

 The primary responsibilities of this role, Demand Planning Manager, are to: 

  • Responsible for facilitating the Consensus Demand Planning process in the country, and playing a key role in the monthly Executive Demand Summary, including presentation of the demand plan to business head
  • Lead monthly forecast and inventory planning meetings with key stakeholders, reviewing historical sales and scan data, and recommending forecast revisions based on data
  • Key role in ongoing refinement and improvement of Consensus Demand Planning process in the market
  • Responsible to meet or exceed overall forecast accuracy and forecast bias targets
  • Present KPI results within S&OP process, including associated root cause analysis with associated corrective and preventive actions on KPI ruptures in the spirit on continuous improvement
  • Drive the statistical forecasting process, reviewing statistical results by SKU, and recommending implementation plan in accordance with results at SKU level
  • Develop collaborative relationships with Account & Brand Managers, as well as key customers to drive improvements in account level forecast accuracy particularly around promotions and product introduction
  • Pivotal role in new product launches, aligning pipeline volume forecast assumptions
  • Product life cycle administration to ensure all product information is set at optimal planning including initial master data set up
  • Pivotal team player in annual budgeting process, ensuring data integrity at SKU level in order to signal realistic  global supply signals
  • Responsible for entering forecasts into SAP APO at appropriate customer and product hierarchical level, and ensuring data integrity on product transitions (predecessor/successor)

  • Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety procedures, workplace standards and company guidelines, and ergonomic rules, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), standard operating procedures (SOPs) applying to a particular process or area, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements, Lockout Tagout;

  • Dispense components, operate, clean, set-up, changeover and maintain equipment and rooms to manufacture products. Clean and maintain process equipment which may include, but not limited to tanks, filler, pumps, blenders, mills, presses, coating pans, etc.;
  • Assist with technical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks as needed and trained.  Take action to safely reduce equipment setup and changeover times; Initiate and establish equipment operating parameters to maximize production, while meeting all product specifications;

Bayer Farm Animal Product Sales

The primary responsibilities of this role, Bayer Farm Animal Product Sales, Senior Technical Sales Representative;

  • Maintains sales at or above the established sales goal for assigned accounts;
  • Develops and utilizes selling skills to identify and satisfy customer needs;
  • Develops and maintains accurate account profiles. This information is used to plan activities and promotional efforts. This profile functions as a marketing plan for the territory;
  • Routinely calls on key customers and influence leaders (as designated in customer base) to increase consumer demand for Bayer products;
  • Establishes and maintains accurate, up-to-date customer account records. Evaluates all customers based upon potential and probability. Classifies accounts based on these equations and develops and follows a strategic work or travel plan that ensures contact with all ‘Key’ accounts every four to six weeks;
  • Organizes and conducts product training for customers and their clients and assists in the development of selling skills and product knowledge of distributor sales personnel;
