Territory Account Manager

Candidate Profile, Technical or specific Skills, Behavioral or Education/Experiences :                                  

  • This is Techno-Commercial position and so candidates with B.E /B.Tech background are preferred.
  • The candidate should have 8-10 years of experience in similar functions and similar industry.
  • The candidate must have good Partner and customer connect in the Western India region. The candidate must be working in this region in his /her present assignment. This is mandatory requirement.
  • The candidate should be based in Mumbai /Gurgaon and will be an individual contributor with hunter mentality.  This profile will be well supported by TSS team. (Technical Sales & Services team)
  • Strong know how on Networking Solutions (Campus LAN, Data centre solutions, WLAN) Voice Technologies, Unified Communications & Collaboration applications, is a must.
  • Strong connect with the Mid and Large accounts in the designated Verticals in his /her territory. (BFSI /Hea
  • Proven & Highly successful Sales experience in Mid Market and Large accounts and catering to Verticals such as BFSI, PSU, Manufacturing, IT/ITES, Education , Healthcare etc (preference is BFSI experience)
  • Must kick start on engaging with new accounts in the defined Verticals / territory from day 1.
  • The candidate has proven experience and is well versed with the full sales cycle methodology for large and complex bids – from the concept / solution initiation stage – RFP –technical evaluation-Commercial evaluation- LoI-delivery.
  • High level of passion, energy and proactive mind on Sales.
  • Strong & Close relationship with customers, business partners & competent solving skills.
  • The candidate must demonstrate success in similar profile and Proven Sales Track Record of achieving annual quota consistently.
  • Should have closed large deals and experience in managing high touch accounts
  • The candidate must possess excellent presentation, negotiation and training skills and ability to nurture partner sales team
  • Highly motivated, self-driven and strong achiever.

  • Responsibility to meet and carry the Sales quota for Networking solutions, Voice and Cloud

Vertical Account Manager – Transportation

The Vertical Account Manager Transportation is selling Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Products and Services to existing and new Key Accounts and is developing Accounts, through Partners in an Indirect Sales Model, to maximize the value being delivered to them. He/She is focussed on acquisition of new customers and gaining market share. Main market is UK & Nordics.

Main Responisibilities & Missions 

  • To ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded, the Vertical Account Manager implements the sales strategy defined by sales management
  • Existing Clients to be maintained and developed to a Converged & Cloud product portfolio
  • Selling Converged portfolio & Cloud to new accounts in Vertical market to fullfill turn over objectives
  • Build strong relationships with your Accounts and with Business Partners
  • To ensure the strong focus on creating new business, the Vertical Account Manager knows the sales instruments to create pipeline
  • Maintain the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE) branding in the Vertical market by the creation of references with end-customers to assist ALE and our Business Partners turn the customer relationship into a long-term partnership
  • To develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts in line with business objectives, accurate business planning and reporting is essential and mandatory
  • Expertise and Experience of dealing with mid and large accounts at senior IT and Business levels

Technical or specific Skills, behaviour or Education/Experience

  • Education to degree level, desirable, but not essential
  • Demonstrated track record of successful sales in the Voice/Data/Networking/Cloud Industry with accounts
  • Ability to learn and develop Sales skills, especially in acquisition skills
  • Strong focus on “making the difference”
  • Knowledge of the UK and Transportation market
  • Ability to network within a customer and partner organisation to identify key influencers and decision makers
  • Commercial focus and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English
