CNC Operator

Job Summary

Our client is an industry leading hydro electric company located in the Etobicoke area.

They are seeking a long-term and full-time CNC machine operator to join their permanent staff on the day shift. The ideal candidate will be looking to move into a machinist role and eventually a programmer role.

Experience required: CNC Mill and turning center, set ups, and reading/editing programs

Job description:

-Candidates will be setting up machine (4-7 times/shift) prior to operation according to blueprints.

-Responsible for operating Vertical CNC Mill machine (3-axis) and turning center.

-Responsible for completing minor program adjustments throughout operation

-Will be doing quality check using various measurement tools (calipers/gauges)

Reason for opening: Back filling someone who was promoted into a machinist role in the company

This position is URGENT to fill and can INTERVIEW and START IMMEDIATELY.

This is a long-term opportunity with high growth potential and the starting pay 25/hour and goes up to 26/hour depending on experience. A full benefits package is also offered by our client.
